The Au Pair Community celebrates International Au Pair Day 2023!

Today, on 24 November, we celebrate the invaluable contributions of au pairs worldwide and acknowledge the positive impact they have on the lives of families and individuals.

International Au Pair Day is a special occasion dedicated to recognizing the cultural exchange, mutual learning, and support that au pairs provide to families around the globe. It’s a day to honor the relationships built between au pairs and host families, transcending borders and creating lasting connections.

As an organization committed to promoting the well-being of au pairs and fostering understanding between diverse cultures, IAPA  created this special day five years ago. Our mission aligns with the spirit of this day, as we continue to advocate for fair treatment, clear guidelines, and positive experiences for au pairs and host families alike.

This day is an opportunity to express our gratitude to au pairs for their dedication, enthusiasm, and openness to new experiences. It’s a chance to highlight the enriching cultural exchange that takes place within the framework of au pair programs, contributing to global understanding and unity.
