And the Winner Is… Isabella Foster – IAPA Au Pair of the Year 2025!

We are thrilled to announce Isabella (Issy) Foster from the UK as the winner of the IAPA Au Pair of the Year Award 2025! Chosen from an incredible group of nominees, Issy stood out for her exceptional dedication, warmth, and the profound impact she had on her host family.

The award was officially presented on March 19 at the WETM-IAC Conference in Alicante, Spain—a truly special moment made even more meaningful by the presence of both Issy’s parents and her host mother, who traveled from the United States to share in the celebration.

During the ceremony, Issy’s nomination video was shown, offering a glimpse into the deep bond she formed with her host family and the extraordinary role she played in their lives. When Issy took the stage to accept her award, her heartfelt speech moved the entire audience, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.

In her speech Issy said: “I have learned so much over y experience, but the biggest thing is that home isn´t just a place, but it’s the people we love, no matter where in the world you are. I am forever grateful to have a forever family across the ocean!”

Her journey as an au pair has been nothing short of inspiring. Through patience, resilience, genuine care and a huge amount of humor and good spirit, Issy became more than just a caregiver—she became a true part of her host family and to her host mother even like the younger sister she had always wished for.
