CAPAA Elects New Chair and Board
The Cultural Au Pair Association of Australia (CAPAA) has elected a new Board and Chair.
The International Au Pair Association (IAPA) warmly congratulates Nicole Kofkin, founder of Hello Au Pair, on her election as Chair. Nicole succeeds Anna Prasad (AIFS Australia), whom we thank for her dedication and valuable contributions as well as positive cooperation with IAPA during her tenure as Chair.
Nicole Kofkin brings nearly two decades of experience in the au pair and cultural exchange sector, having been actively involved in the industry since 2006. As a founding member of CAPAA, she has played an important role in promoting best practices and advocating for the au pair programme as a genuine cultural exchange. Her leadership also extends internationally through previous involvement with the British Au Pair Agencies Association (BAPAA) and the European Committee for Au Pair Standards (ECAPS).
“It is a privilege to lead CAPAA and to continue working in an industry that creates meaningful cultural connections, supports families, and offers young people from around the world an unforgettable and educational exchange experience.” Says Nicole about her new role.
With a professional background in tourism and cultural exchange and her long experience in the au pair sector, Nicole has supported thousands of au pairs and host families, facilitating meaningful cultural experiences while addressing the needs of modern families. Her international perspective and strong commitment to the sector will help support CAPAA in its ongoing work.
IAPA looks forward to continued collaboration with Nicole and the CAPAA Board.
