LEDEU Academia is a language and international education academy based in Quito, Ecuador.
The academy offers practice-oriented courses in German, English and French, as well as structured exchange programmes to Germany and the United States, including Au Pair, vocational training, university preparation and qualified employment pathways
Language courses are clearly goal-driven (levels A1–C2), with a strong focus on communication, intercultural competence and exam preparation (e.g. telc/Goethe). Classes are taught by qualified and experienced teachers who understand both the requirements of the German-speaking education and labour market and the specific needs of young learners from Latin America.
As a school in Ecuador, we consistently link language learning with concrete perspectives abroad. Among other things, we offer:
• Au-pair programmes for Germany and the USA with intensive language preparation, individual counselling and close cooperation with reputableplacement and partner agencies.
• Preparatory programmes ‘Working in Germany’, ‘Vocational Training in Germany’ and ‘Studienkolleg’, in which we prepare participants linguistically (up to level B2 in English and C2 in German), academically and in terms of practical arrangements for their move to Europe.
• Specialised tracks for professional groups (e.g. nurses, doctors, engineers) with a focus on professional language and cultural orientation.
Our approach is personal and transparent: every participant receives individual guidance, a clear learning plan and support with application documents, interview preparation and basic formalities. Actual placement in host families or companies is carried out in cooperation with established partner agencies in Germany and the USA, with whom we work closely on a long-term basis.
As a partner to other IAPA members, they see their core role in the qualified preparation and support of candidates in Ecuador: building a solid language foundation, setting realistic expectations, fostering intercultural awareness and ensuring reliable communication with the agencies involved. LEDEU´s aim is that Au Pairs, trainees and professionals start their programmes not only linguistically, but also personally well prepared, enabling sustainable and successful stays in their host countries.
