Welcome to MexicAupair as the first new IAPA member in 2016

IAPA is happy to welcome MexicAupair as the first new affiliate member in 2016. MexicAupair was established over four years ago with the idea of giving young Mexicans an opportunity to get to know the European culture. They started with placements in Austria, but within their first two years in the market they increased their services and now they also offer Germany, Holland and France for au pair placements. BAPAA appoints new Chair: Rebecca Haworth-Wood from A2Z Au Pairs

At the recently held British Au Pair Agencies Association (BAPAA) Annual General Meeting, Sandra Landau stepped down as the BAPAA Chair after serving in this position for 11 years. The assembled membership elected Rebecca Haworth-Wood from A2Z Au Pairs as their new Chairperson. Remembering Uta Christianson and Jackie Sant-Myerhoff

This week we were informed of the passing of two people who have significantly contributed to the development of the international youth travel and cultural exchange industry. We herewith want to pass our condolences to their families, colleagues and other loved ones. Uta Christianson | InterExchange InterExchange’s co-Founder and former President, Uta Christianson, passed away peacefully at her home last week. Uta Christianson grew up in wartime Germany and moved to New York  in the late 60’s where she met Paul Christianson, who passed away in 2013.
